Kanye Omari West, rapper, singer, and producer, came to fame through Roc-A-Fella Records where he was a record producer. He achieved musical acknowledgement after being involved in Jay-Z's album, The Blueprint, as well as on hit singles by other popular artists. Arts and Entertainment from EzineArticles.com

Throughout your entire life you've always been looking for something more, mostly as a result of dissatisfaction. You go to a fancy restaurant and they give you two bites of an overly salted beef stroganoff, leaving you with a greater sense of thirst and a desire for a nice cheeseburger. Or you go out to see the latest blockbuster hit, only to to be left with the perplexing question of how such a film ever made it to theaters. On your never ending quest for complete satisfaction, with a subscription to satellite TV you might for once be content with the entire product you get. With hundreds of channels to choose from, it would be difficult to handle any more.

Hot Dude Of The Week: Chris Fawcett

It is time, once again, to say hello to the Hot Dude of the Week. This week’s specimen of Hot Dudeness was photographed by the extremely talented Rick Day, who never seems to run short on Hot Dudes to photograph. Say hello to Chris Fawcett, in all his bright white undies wonder: I just love [...]

A few more geek-minded celebs made their way out to Day 2 of New York Comic-Con going on this weekend in the Big Apple making the dreams and wishes of loyal fans come true. Day 2 included in-person appearances by hot ladies Tricia Helfer and Katee Sackhoff from Battlestar Galactica as well as hotties Eric Bana and James Franco:

And for some strange reason, Corey Feldman — in his infamous Michael Jackson attire — was in attendance as well. I’m not sure I quite get the connection between Comic Book/Sci Fi awesomeness and Feldman‘s presence but I’m guessing there was an appearance fee included and, well, I’m certain Corey Feldman would never turn down such an offer. To be honest, I always found Feldman‘s MJ impersonation extremely weird … now that MJ has passed, I find it extremely weird AND creepy. But, despite the creep-factor that invariably shows up at these sorts of events, I’m certain the sheer awesomeness makes NYCC a total blast. Sigh. I’m there in spirit …

Melanie C (aka Sport Spice) is supporting Simon Fuller's campaign for the Spice Girls to perform at the opening ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games - and we think it's a great idea!

She said:

"Officially we don't know anything yet but I think it's a brilliant idea. It would be wonderful for all five of us to appear and I'm sure all the girls would be up for it. Let's petition for this and make it happen."

Considering they're not touring, would this one-time reunion be so much to ask?!

When last we saw lovebirds Kate Bosworth and Alexander Skarsgård out and about in public it was mid-July and there were reports that the couple’s relationship was cooling down … then … we didn’t see or hear about them for a few months. But this weekend, Bosgård were in full effect again as the couple stepped out in public together on a movie date here in LA. It would seem that those reports of the end of Bosgård were not entirely correct:

I really like these two together … I’m glad to see that things appear to be going well for the two of them. It’s entirely possible that just because Bosgård have been out of public sight doesn’t mean that there’s been trouble in paradise. Long live Bosgård!!

Today we get to see new photos that show that shizz got seriously serious on the M:I 4 set … Jeremy and Tom had to get in the water to film in the freezing Prague weather:

HMMM … yeah, I’m not sure what the showering situation turned out to be but … you gotta give it up to these guys … I’m certain it is no small feat filming scenes like this when the temps are near freezing. The Best Way To Easily Create Killer Hip Hop Beats

The general feeling with electric players is that stainless steel frets can give a completely new dimension to ease of playing; therefore why shouldn't the same be applicable to the acoustic guitar? Stainless steel fret replacement is a reasonably common modification that is made to electric and electro-acoustic guitars, but the practice of refitting an acoustic guitar with stainless steel frets is a pretty rare occurrence, by all accounts.

Learning How to Play Guitar Fast

The Irish love song Down by the Salley Gardens sounds like it has come straight out of the folk music tradition but in fact it was written by the classically educated poet W B Yeats. The song is a tale of unrequited love in which the young man pursues a girl he meets while out walking. He manages to establish a relationship with her temporarily but then he loses her because he ignores her pleas to "take love slowly".

Suicide Silence

Among the different musical instruments, woodwind instruments are one of the most prone to damage and accidents. Usually, these damages and accidents happen if they are not put into their cases after using. If these instruments are left in the bedrooms without any protection, you can subsequently sit on them without knowing. Most of these instruments end up being in a shape of a banana. Since these instruments are not that cheap, you must be carefully in handling them.

How Yeats Borrowed an Old Song When Writing The Salley Gardens

The classic Irish song Raglan Road is one of the greatest love poems of the last century - yet it was a throwaway jibe about cabbages and turnips that led to it being written. The song began life as a poem by the great Irish writer Patrick Kavanagh. He was the self-styled peasant poet because he often wrote about country and farming matters, even to the point of referring to vegetables.

How to Find Legal Music Online for Free

Believe it or not, rock and roll is almost 60 years old now. Music that could be labeled "rockabilly" started appearing in the early 50s. In fact, some say that the Maddox Brothers and Rose were recording rockabilly music as early as the late 40s. But it's generally agreed that rockabilly was born in February of 1954 when Elvis recorded "That's All Right" for Memphis' Sun Records. No matter exactly when you peg the release of the first rockabilly song, the genre is getting undeniably old. But it's standing the test of time remarkably well.

How to Care for Art Supplies

Even the most enthusiastic expert can be overawed by the amount of art materials available online. There is such an array of art materials on the internet that it can be confusing for people to understand what choices they have when parting with their cash but the key is to always select an item which is appropriate for the artist. Buying art materials without doing research beforehand may help with innovation but prior investigation is advisable because a person will be certain how to create a planned project.

What Is Deathcore Music and Do I Care?

The music industry today is overridden with mediocre artists pumping out cliched, meaningless music that sells records but fails to do what all good music should, at the end of the day, do: touch people's lives and help them connect with each other and their individual realities. I, personally, have had no personal, deeper experience with any of the music I purchased last year. There is, however, an undercurrent to the prevailing winds of the music industry that is proving to be quite promising, a movement that is being spearheaded by people like Sam Phillips.

paris-hiltons-stolen-birthday-cake-makers-respond-to-controversy

Well, they're taking the news pretty well!

In light of the news that Paris Hilton's $3,200 birthday cake was stolen by a drunken party crasher, the company that baked it, Lucid Absinthe, has issued the following statement:

“It is very unfortunate that someone stole the cake from Paris’s birthday party. We had the cake designed especially for Paris with Lucid in the batter and a beautiful representation of Lucid's artwork on it, which she had requested to meet the Moulin Rouge theme of the party. We’re happy that Paris and her guests were able to enjoy a night of Lucid cocktails, including the Paris Lemonade / Paris frozen Lucid Sorbet – and only wish that the guests could have tried her delicious cake. As for Paz, feel free to connect with us on the Lucid Absinthe Facebook page, where we would love to hear your side of the story and thoughts on the cake!”

Wowza! Sounds like they're just more concerned about getting feedback about how it tasted!

Ha! We still don't condone what happened, but at least there aren't too many hard feelings - at least on their end!

Thoughts??
